William passed peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday the 29th of May 2026

RIP.

Predeceased by his beloved parents Jack and Maggie .

William will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Noleen; his daughter Vivienne; his sons John, Anthony, Keith, Damien and Pat; his grandchildren Shane, James, Shannon, Conor, Isabelle, Martin, Declan, Shauna, Rebecca, Ella, Liam, Rhys, Emmy, Zach, Oscar, Harry and his eleven great-grandchildren; his sisters-in-law; his son-in-law Alex and daughters-in-law Helena, Caroline, Cheryl and Trish.

William will be fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews, his extended family, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

The Maher family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in University Hospital Waterford for the excellent care and attention William received throughout his short illness.

May William rest peacefully.

William’s reposal will take place on Sunday the 31st of May at Falconers Funeral Home, Tramore X91TW21 from 3pm to 6pm.

All are welcome and refreshments will be served throughout.

William’s Requiem Mass will take place on Monday the 1st of June at 11am in St. Patrick’s Church, Portlaw, after which William will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.

William’s funeral cortege will pass his former home on Brown Street and will then leave his family home on William Street at approximately 10:30am to arrive for his Requiem Mass
