Sam passed away peacefully in the tender care of the staff of the Oak Ward, University Hospital, Waterford surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Catherine, sisters Maísie, Joan, Kathleen, Pat and Esther, brothers Pa, Marty and Dan.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, sons David and Keith, daughters Janet and Laura, daughter-in-law Aideen, sons-in-law William and Brian, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Tony and Noel, sister Chris, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Friday (5th June) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 4:30pm.

Requiem Mass on arrival in St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan on Saturday (6th June) at 1:30pm followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner, Waterford.

Mass will be livestreamed at 1:30pm on Saturday by following the Funeral Service link.
