Noeline Kohr nee Hamm, Amesbury, MA

Formerly of Newtown, Waterford.

Noeline passed away unexpectedly on February 9th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 16th, 1947, in Waterford (Port Láirge), Ireland.

Predeceased by her parents, Francis and Josephine Hamm; her brothers, Nicholas and Richard Hamm; and her sister, Alicia Costellic.

Noeline is survived by her beloved husband, Frank B. Kohr, her three children, Barbara Sullivan and her husband Joe of Groveland, MA; Shannon Dow and her husband George of Austin, Texas; and Brian Kohr and his wife Jenn, of Saugus, MA; and her eight cherished grandchildren, Brendan Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, Colin Dow, Morgan Sullivan, Erinn Dow, Liam Sullivan, Nicholas Kohr, and Avaleigh Kohr.

Also survived by her siblings living in Ireland: Celine Walshe of Waterford, Frankie Hamm of Waterford, Jacinta Morrissey of Tramore, Miriam Keegan of Dublin, Martine O’Dwyer of Waterford, her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beloved friends.

Noeline’s funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17th, at Immaculate Conception Church at 42 Green St., Newburyport, MA.

Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport, MA
