Who died on Thursday 14th March 2024

Predeceased by her husband Moss, her parents Teddy and Molly, sisters Maureen (Power) and Stella (Hayes), her brothers William and John, brother-in-law Maurice (Hayes), sons-in-law Mike (Leeming) and Eddie (Dunphy).

Loving mother of Isabelle, Anne, Marie, Angela and Eddie. Rita will be sadly missed by her sons-in-law Neil (Whittle), David (Evans) and daughter-in-law Maria (Power), grandchildren Darran, Derek, Carey-Marie, Sam, Megan, Jack and Jenny, great-grandchildren Beibhinn, Ryan, Jacob, Cillian, Robyn, Judith and Ted, nephew Nicholas, niece Carmel, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Sunday (17th March) from 4 pm to 5:30 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 5 pm.

Walking from Thompson’s Funeral Home on Monday to Ballybricken Church for Mass on arrival at 12 noon burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mass will be available to view from 12 noon on Monday by following the Service link below:
