Joseph Patrick Smith, Late of Meadowbrook, Tramore, Co. Waterford.

Joe passed peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on Sunday, May 24th, 2026.

RIP.

Predeceased by his mum and dad; his brother Michael; sisters Mamie, Alice and Helen and his beautiful daughter Tess.
Joe will be forever missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken wife Wilma; his adored children Annette, Caroline and Chris; his fabulous sons-in-law Ollie and Blaise; his wonderful grandchildren Alanna, Olivia, Ciara, Ethan and Jamie along with his sisters and brothers and his large extended family and friends.

Joe touched the lives of so many throughout his years as a foster dad as well as a volunteer with the Special Olympics.

Joe will be reposing at his family home in 67 Meadowbrook, Tramore Co. Waterford from 3pm to 8pm on Tuesday the 26th of May.

A Celebration of Joe’s life will take place in Falconers Funeral Home (X91TW2) on Wednesday the 27th of May from 2pm to 4pm

All are welcome and refreshments will be served throughout

As per Joe’s wishes a private cremation service will take place on Thursday at 1pm.
