Predeceased by his mother Kathleen, father Arthur, beloved brother Joe, daughter-in-law Teresa, brother-in-law Joe Ryan.
Sadly, missed by his adoring wife Caroline, daughters Catherina and Aoife, son-in-law Philip, his treasured grandchildren Brandon, Eimhin, Keelin and Fionn, sisters Lily and Rita, brother-in-law Gerry, sister-in-law Angela, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Monday (7th April) from 3.00pm to 5.00pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 4.30pm.
John’s cortege will walk from Ballytruckle at 11:15am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, The Folly at 11:30am on Tuesday (8th April) for Requiem Mass,
followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.
House private at all times please.
Mass will be live streamed at 11:30am on Tuesday by following the Funeral Service link.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Southeast Palliative Care.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible staff at University Hospital Waterford epically all the nurse’s in the Palliative Care Unit and Cork University Hospital for the exceptional care shown to John.
