John (Johnny) O’ Connor. Late of Newtown, Tramore, Co. Waterford, formerly of O’ Connor’s Bakery and Tramore Golf Club.

John passed peacefully in University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family on the 22nd of January 2024 RIP.

John is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Catherine, his brother David and his sister Joan.

John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Bridie; his son Thomas, his daughter Maria; his adoring grandchildren Rebecca, Harry and Ava; son-in-law Eugene; his brother Tom, sisters Sr. Thomas and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John will be reposing at Falconer’s Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Wednesday, the 24th of January, from 5pm to 7pm.
All are welcome.

John’s Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, the 25th of January at 1pm at The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford, with burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Those who wish to take part in John’s Mass remotely, please click on the link below.

John’s funeral cortege will leave his residence at approximately 12:30pm and will pass Tramore Golf Club at approximately 12:35pm and will then walk from Tramore Credit Union at approximately 12:50am to arrive for his Requiem Mass at 1pm.
