Predeceased by her parents Rita and Aidan.

Evelyn will be fondly remembered and missed by a wonderful collection of great friends from school, work, sport, living abroad, simply having some fun in life and from the various services that supported her.

She expressed a wish to use this notice to say “Thank You” to all those whose paths she crossed, who helped at her many times of need, who made time for Evelyn, shared their smiles and were so kind to her.

Evelyn, a much loved lady, will be deeply missed in the lives of her close family, especially her daughter Jenny McDonnell and Fiona, Aidan, Vicki, Emmet, Lily and Ava.

She is survived by her “family of carers” from Havenwood and Kilbarry, her great friends and extended family of siblings and cousins. She enjoyed wonderful care over the last twelve years from Home Instead, the HSE, at Shine, being on the Irish Dementia Working Group and especially at Lady Lane, in Havenwood and in Kilbarry Care Centre.
