Formerly of Lisnakill, Butlerstown, Co. Waterford & Late of Lonergan’s Bar, The Quay, Waterford.

Nellie passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a short illness in Waterford Residential Care Centre (St Patrick’s).

Predeceased by her beloved husband Maurice, little sister Mary, baby brother James and her parents John and Ellen O’Keeffe.
Deeply mourned by her loving daughters Elaine, Kay and Carmel, son John, sons-in-law Paul and Pat and Elaines’s partner Jennifer, her cherished grandsons Cathal, Eoghan, Harry and Arthur, her siblings Sean, Pat, Margaret, Billy, Michael, David and Sheila, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends especially Rita, Maeve, Betty and Helena

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Tuesday (5th May) from 3:30pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 5:00pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Butlerstown for reception into the church at 6:00pm.
Requiem Mass on arrival in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Butlerstown on Wednesday (6th May) at 1:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mass will be livestreamed at 1:00pm on Wednesday by following the Funeral Service link below.

The family would like to extend a very special thank all the staff of the Medical 2 Ward in University Hospital Waterford and the Farronshoneen Ward in Waterford Residential Care Centre for the exceptional care and companionship extended to Nellie and her family during her short illness.
