WLR is delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new Sunday programme, The Weekender with Suzanne Parker, airing every Sunday from 12pm to 1pm.

The new weekly show, sponsored by Connors Meskill part of the ECOVIS Group, will offer listeners a relaxed and engaging look at the week that was and the week ahead across Waterford City and County.

At the heart of The Weekender will be a weekly one-to-one interview, giving Suzanne the opportunity to sit down with some of the interesting people making a difference across Waterford and beyond.

Suzanne Parker is well known across Waterford as a local solicitor with Parker Law and has also become a familiar voice to WLR audiences through presenting the Legally Speaking podcast.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Suzanne Parker said:

“I’m really excited to be joining WLR for The Weekender. Waterford is full of fascinating people and great stories, and I’m looking forward to having the time every Sunday to sit down with our guests, hear their stories and have some really good conversations. We’ll also be looking back at what Waterford has been talking about during the week and getting listeners ready for the week ahead.”

The Weekender with Suzanne Parker airs every Sunday from 12pm to 1pm on WLR.
