Jacqueline O’ Duffy, the wife of Kerry businessman Nathan McDonnell who was jailed last year for importing millions of euro worth of drugs has appeared on a court summons list accused of drug driving offences.
Jackie, 44, is accused of having drugs in her system on August 23, 2025, while driving/attempting to drive in Clogherbrien in Tralee.
Nathan McDonnell who ran the Ballyseedy Garden Centre in Tralee is currently serving a 12 year sentence after he was found guilty of helping an organised crime gang with links to the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico, bring more than €32m of drugs into the country.

It was the largest consignment of crystal meth to be imported into the country.
Nathan McDonnell was once regarded as one of Kerry’s most prominent businessmen after taking over the garden-centre business started by his family, three generations ago in Tralee.

Jacqueline who was not required to appear in court was represented by her solicitor, Padraig O’ Connell, who has applied for full disclosure of all evidence in the case.
The case has been adjourned until June 24. Within this time, Jacqueline will decide whether she will plead ‘guilty’ or not guilty to the charge.
