Motorists are being advised that Waterside Car Park in Waterford City will be temporarily closed to facilitate the World GAA Games Opening Ceremony.

The car park will close from 8 pm on Sunday, July 12 until 7 pm on Monday, July 13, with no parking permitted during this period.

The temporary closure is to allow for the parade and opening ceremony, which will mark the official start of the World GAA Games in Waterford.

Waterford City and County Council is advising motorists to make alternative parking arrangements during the closure and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
