Waterford is under a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning until 7pm.

Met Éireann says scattered thunderstorms are moving up from the south today with potential for lightning and hail damage, slippy roads and impaired visibilty, where showers hit.

The warning also applies to Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Wexford.
