Tickets are going on sale today for this year’s Waterford Panto, with Sleeping Beauty set to bring some Christmas magic to the Theatre Royal.
The Waterford Panto Society is returning for its latest production following its 40th anniversary season.
Sleeping Beauty will feature Spraoi-designed sets, award-winning costumes, special effects, a full live band and plenty of audience participation.
The production will form part of the festive celebrations in Waterford City, with performances taking place at the Theatre Royal throughout December.
Some tips for booking
- Book online: The Panto Society says booking online is the best option.
- Book by phone: You can also call the box office on 051 874 402.
- Online queue: Customers who join the online queue before 10am will be assigned a queue number when bookings open.
- Have a backup date: Have a preferred date in mind, as well as a second option, before joining the queue.
- Accessible seating: If you require wheelchair or accessible seating, call the box office on 051 874 402.
- Ticket limit: There is a maximum of 8 tickets per customer.
- Sensory performance: Keep an eye on the Panto Society’s social media channels for details on booking the sensory performance.
The panto will open on Wednesday, December 9th at 7.30pm, with further performances running until December 30th.
There will be both afternoon and evening performances on selected dates, including Saturday, December 12th, Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 27th.
The Waterford Panto Society says Sleeping Beauty is aimed at audiences of all ages and is intended to continue the long-standing Christmas tradition for families across the city and county.
Tickets go on sale at 10am today, Tuesday, September 22nd.
The event is expected to sell out fast, with a maximum of eight tickets per person.
