Waterford Marine Search & Rescue (WMSAR) is currently recruiting new volunteers.

The organisation is inviting anyone who has considered getting involved with WMSAR, whether through Search & Rescue work or Suicide Prevention support, to find out more and apply to join the team.

Applicants must be over 18 years old, reasonably fit and willing to dedicate their time to giving back to the community.

Volunteer roles include Search, Rescue & Recovery Operations, Suicide Prevention Patrols, First Aid, Swiftwater & Flood Rescue, and Drone & Sonar Operations.

No previous experience is necessary, with full training provided.

Joining WMSAR offers volunteers the opportunity to learn new skills, become part of a dedicated team and contribute directly to their community.
