Something big is coming to WLR, and we’re looking for Waterford’s next great voices to be part of it.

Have you got the gift of the gab? Are you passionate about sport, music, news, or entertainment? Can you tell a great story, spark a conversation or simply keep people listening?

You might be a barber or hairdresser who can chat to anyone, a driver / teacher who’s also a sports fanatic and has always thought, “Yeah, I could do that,” or an tech genius and music lover who’s ready to take over the airwaves.

Whatever your background, we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for personality, passion and Waterford people who genuinely love their county. Previous radio experience isn’t essential, what matters is that you have something to say and a way of saying it that makes people want to listen.
