There were two lucky Waterford Match 5+ Bonus winners in Saturday night’s National Lotto Drawn.

One One winning ticket, purchased on the day of the draw, was sold at Spar Lismore Park, 2 Tyrone Road, Lismore Park, Waterford.  

The second Waterford winner also bought their Quick Pick ticket on draw day at Tesco Ballybeg, Kilbarry Road, Ballybeg. 

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said, “It’s been an incredible night of wins for Lotto players right across Ireland, with one player in the capital becoming the newest National Lottery millionaire of 2026. And the celebrations didn’t stop there – not one, not two, but THREE players matched five numbers plus the Bonus to each take home a fantastic €58,471. We’re urging all players to check their tickets very carefully today. If you discover you’re holding a winning ticket, be sure to sign the back of it, keep it safe, and contact our Prize Claims team!”

In total there were four winners across the country.

The standout win of the night came in Lotto Plus 1, where the €1 million top prize was scooped by a Dublin player in the Saturday night draw. The Dubliner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw.

The numbers for the Saturday, 18th April, main Lotto draw were: 5, 6, 11, 18, 40, 45 and the Bonus was 24

The third Match 5 + Bonus prize was won by a player in Dublin who purchased their Quick Pick ticket online.  The numbers for the Saturday, 18th April, Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 2, 3, 5, 16, 32, 42 and the Bonus was 15.

The Saturday night winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes at Lottery Headquarters. The online winner has also been notified to check their National Lottery account for details of their latest win.

In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 39 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
