Two children have been hospitalised after an incident at the Mount Suir apartment complex in Waterford City.

The incident happened at Block C earlier today.

A boy, aged three, and a girl, aged seven, fell from a balcony.

They have been transferred to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of injuries.
