Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle collision this morning, May 28th at the top of the Pike Hill, just outside Dungarvan.

The incident, involving a lorry and a van has led to significant tailbacks on the busy stretch of road.

At approximately 07:00am, a crash occurred between both vehicles.

A vehicle is reported to have over-turned at the top of the hill.

At present, 07:35am, one lane remains open, allowing traffic to pass.

However, motorists are advised that traffic is moving slowly.

It is expected that lanes will close in order to facilitate clearing of the road and access for emergency services.
