Rents continue to rise Waterford

The rate at which rents are rising is still high in the four major cities outside Dublin.
That’s according to the latest Daft.ie report.
In Waterford City, market rents in the second quarter of 2026 were on average 5.5% higher than a year ago.
The typical open-market rent of a two-bedroom apartment in the city was €1,637.
In Waterford county, market rents in the second quarter of 2026 were on average 0.9% higher than a year ago.
The typical open-market rent of a three-bedroom house in the county was €1,741.
Across the country, availability remains well below pre-pandemic norms, when there were typically over 4,300 homes to rent at any one time.
