Gardaí have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses following an assault in Waterford city last week.

A man aged in his twenties was assaulted by another man while walking with his partner in the Apple Market shortly before 2pm last Friday afternoon, July 24th.

Investigations are ongoing and Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
