Plans have been submitted for the construction of housing at part of the former Christian Brothers Secondary School in Tramore.

The application from Keybuild Services Ltd. seeks the change of use of part of the vacant former Tramore CBS three storey school building at St Otteran’s Terrace from educational use/community infrastructure to residential use.

The application consists of 12 residential units, including 2 one bed and 2 two bed units at lower ground floor, 3 one bed and 1 two bed units at upper ground floor, and 3 one bed and 1 two bed units at first floor

Proposed works also include the removal of an existing prefabricated classroom building from the site, and alterations and adjustments of existing site boundaries.

A decision is due by July 27th with submissions accepted until July 6th.
