A planning application has been lodged with the local authority for the redevelopment of Tramore’s Grand Hotel.
In a statement online, developers Frisby confirmed an application for a 40 unit Aparthotel development has been submitted.
“We are delighted to confirm that a planning application has been lodged for the redevelopment of the historic Grand Hotel, Tramore into a new 40-unit Aparthotel,” the post said.
“The proposal aims to sensitively restore and revitalise one of Tramore’s most iconic landmark buildings while delivering new high quality tourism accommodation in the heart of the town. We look forward to progressing the project through the planning process over the coming months.”
The statement was accompanied by an artist’s impression of the proposed development.
There have been ongoing calls for the redevelopment of the iconic site for many years.
