The winning location of Ireland’s first-ever €1 million Scratch Card prize has been revealed.
It marks the first time in National Lottery history that a €1 million prize has been won on a scratch card, following the launch of the All Cash Millionaire game.
It has now been revealed that the record-breaking ticket was sold at Applegreen Gorey, Ramstown Lower, Co Wexford, the National Lottery has confirmed.

Announcing the milestone, National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said it was a ‘huge milestone’ for the organisation.
‘A player in Gorey has scratched their way to €1 million, becoming the first person in Ireland ever to win a €1 million prize on a Scratch Card,’ he said.
‘This is a huge milestone for the National Lottery as the top prize on the All Cash Millionaire Scratch Card, the first of its kind in Ireland, has now been won.’

The confirmed winning retailer, Applegreen Gorey, has said the news has created huge excitement among staff.
Store manager Rita Kareckiene said it was a moment the forecourt team would never forget.
‘To sell the very first €1 million Scratch Card prize ever won in Ireland is an incredible milestone, and we’re absolutely thrilled it happened right here in Gorey,’ she said.

‘There’s a real sense of excitement among the team knowing that one of our customers has become a millionaire in such an historic way.’
The win also highlights the wider contribution of National Lottery games to Good Causes across Ireland.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent goes back into funding sport, youth, health, education, arts, heritage and the Irish language, with more than €7 billion raised since the Lottery was established 39 years ago.
In 2024 alone, €239.3 million was generated for local Good Causes nationwide.
