A man was arrested following a public order incident in Waterford City yesterday (Wednesday).

Gardaí received a report of an alleged public order incident on O’Connell Street, Waterford shortly before 4pm yesterday.

A man aged in his late teens was later arrested by Gardaí in connection with this incident.

He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Waterford District Court at a later date.
