A man in his 40s was involved in a single-vehicle collision yesterday evening, Tuesday August 25th at approximately 9pm on the M9 leaving Waterford.

Gardai and emergency services attended the scene involving a single car.

A male aged in his 40s was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. These are understood to be non life-threatening injuries.

Enquires are ongoing by Gardai and the road which was closed for a time last night has since re-opened.
