A EuroMillions player has woken up €20,000 richer after matching five numbers in Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw.
While the EuroMillions jackpot of a staggering €49.4million wasn’t won on Tuesday night, an Irish player managed to match five of the numbers — and as a result, is set to take home a cool €20,534.
The winning numbers on Tuesday’s EuroMillions were: 3, 4, 8, 20, 31, and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 8.
While no one won the jackpot, over 38,000 people in Ireland won a prize in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games — including the €20,000 prize, which was won by an online player in Kilkenny.

‘What fantastic news for one of our online EuroMillions players!’ National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said.
‘Huge congratulations to our latest winner. We’re now encouraging all online players in Kilkenny to check their emails and accounts today – you could be in for a very nice surprise!’
The National Lottery has since confirmed that a notification has been sent to the online player via email, who is now advised to contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222, or email claims@lottery.ie.

The EuroMillions win comes as a Lotto jackpot winner of a massive €8.7million has yet to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning ticket was purchased in Dublin 12 ahead of the May 2 draw, with the winner being urged to sign the back of their ticket.
If you’re the winner, then you’re advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team, where arrangements will be made to collect your prize.
