Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for information following two suspected arson incidents at a vacant property in Ballybeg earlier this month.

Waterford Crime Unit is investigating reports of fires at a property at 28 Ardmore Park, Ballybeg, Waterford City.

The first incident occurred at approximately 3.50 am on Friday, May 16th, while a second incident was reported at around 1.40 am on Tuesday, May 20th.

Fire services attended both scenes and brought the fires under control.

Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have information relating to either incident to come forward.

Residents in the area are also being asked to review any available CCTV, dashcam, or video doorbell footage that may assist the investigation.

Gardaí are also encouraging members of the public to report suspected criminal activity by contacting 999 or 112 in an emergency, or through their local Garda station.
