Crews continued to monitor the wildfire on Slievenamon overnight.

The blaze on the South Tipperary Mountain is entering its fifth day.

Tipperary County Council is reiterating there is no immediate threat to life.

It is once again urging the public to continue avoiding the area, and to keep the River Anner at Thorny Bridge clear, which is being used as a water source.
