Plans are being brought forward for a new residential development consisting of 89 homes in Tramore.
Middlethird Estates Ltd intends to apply to Waterford City and County Council for permission for the development at Summerhill.
The proposed scheme would include a mixture of houses, apartments and maisonettes.
A maisonette is a self-contained apartment that spans two floors and has its own private front door leading directly to the outside
Under the plans, 45 houses would be constructed, comprising 12 semi-detached four-bedroom homes, 16 semi-detached three-bedroom homes and 17 terraced three-bedroom houses.
A further 24 two-bedroom apartments would be provided across three two-storey duplex blocks, with 12 apartments at ground-floor level and 12 at first-floor level.
The development would also include five two-storey maisonette blocks containing 20 one-bedroom apartments, split evenly between ground and first-floor level.
Associated site works would also form part of the proposed development.
The plans are subject to an application for permission to Waterford City and County Council.
