The second season of The Four Seasons is now just weeks away, but this series will be missing one of the show’s biggest names.
The cast, including Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Marco Calvani, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Erika Henningsen, is back to bring more laughs and heartfelt moments.
However, as the first pictures revealed, Steve Carell will not be back for another outing as his character was killed off in a car accident in season one (and was the best part of the show).

Co-created by Tina Fey, the series is inspired by Alan Alda’s 1981 comedy about navigating midlife crises.
Season two will follow the group of friends across four vacations over the course of a year, with eight episodes packed with humor and relatable life moments.
A new trailer sees the friends trying to navigate life without Nick and shows how his girlfriend, Ginny, who is pregnant, becomes a part of the gang.

It starts with them saying that ‘Nick would have loved this’ while on a hike, and showing him sitting in a scene from the last season.
Although there is sadness over Nick’s passing, the trailer does show plenty of more lighthearted moments with the friends getting into their usual antics and cracking jokes.

‘We used Nick’s passing to launch us into this season, because he really loomed so large,’ co-creator Lang Fisher told Tudum. ‘When you lose someone who’s a real fixture, the group tends to lose its center.’
At a recent Emmy FYC event, Tina Fey said ‘We’ve been drawing from our own lives and experiences, which has been both fun and meaningful.’

Without the original film as a guide this time, Tina revealed that the team is ‘starting from scratch,; promising fresh and original storylines.
The first-look images showcase the cast in various settings, hinting at the adventures and challenges awaiting them in season two. From heartfelt moments to comedic escapades.
The new series will drop on Netflix on May 28th… we can’t wait!
