Kathryn Thomas has never shied away from controversial topics, and so it comes as no surprise that the Carlow woman tackled the divisive topic of anti-aging tweakments.
Her two-part documentary, Young Forever: The Death of Aging, started airing on Monday, with many viewers taking to social media to say the same thing.
While Kathryn explained that she ‘certainly didn’t agree with everyone,’ she interviewed, she detailed how eye-opening it was to ‘explore the many paths people are taking in the pursuit of longer life, from everyday lifestyle changes to the frontiers of longevity science.’

‘Around the world, the race to beat aging is on. From cutting-edge aesthetics and longevity clinics to scientists making incredible breakthroughs in stem cell research and blood plasma treatments,’ Kathryn added.
She continued: ‘And the tech bro billionaires investing their gazillions to reduce their chronological age by half,’ she added, before confessing that filming the show was ‘quite the ride!!!’
The overwhelming consensus amongst fans is that they were hooked to the show, with Una Healy commenting to say: ‘Brilliant and so interesting, well done Kathryn.’

‘So interesting to watch,’ another person said, while a third person penned: ‘Shocking but so good to watch.’
‘Can’t begin to tell you how much I am enjoying this show,’ another person said while a fourth added that the show was ‘brilliant.’ It appears the RTÉ One show has gone down a hit!
Kathryn previously opened up about her own experience with anti-ageing treatments.
She pondered why she feels the need to get her face injected every six months, explaining that she wants to ‘get rid of the lines and look younger.’

Kathryn spoke on Laura Dowling’s podcast, as she questioned whether society allows women to age. The 47-year-old admitted that societal pressure likely plays a role in her decision to enhance her looks.
‘As women, are we allowed to age? Does society let us age anymore?’ she asked on the podcast. ‘I go and get my Botox every 6 months because I want to get rid of the lines, I want to look younger.’
No better woman to delve into the world of anti-ageing!
