When the majors are over, it’s time for some downtime, but that doesn’t mean Shane Lowry wants to be split up from his buddy, Rory McIlroy.

Quite the opposite, in fact. Following the Open at Royal Birkdale, Shane, Rory, Rory’s longtime friend and caddie Harry Diamond, and their respective families have headed off on a well-deserved trip.

While their sport takes them all across the globe, the lads decided to settle in Greece with their better halves and children for some respite.

Shane’s wife, Wendy Lowry, shared photos from their Grecian getaway, and her snaps have made us totally envious.

One photo shows the three couples sitting down for an evening meal under moonlight in Paros.

Wendy also shared photos of her little ones, Iris and Ivy, having the time of their lives with Rory and Erica Stoll‘s youngster, Poppy, and Harry and his wife Claire’s kids.

Another photo shows off what good pals Rory and Shane are as they share a good laugh while sipping on some vino at renowned waterfront venue Barbarossa.

Wendy couldn’t resist but to show off her and her fellow WAGs’ fabulous summer style as they posed for photos before some of their evening meals.

In particular, Wendy, Erica, and Claire looked phenomenal, all dressed in white, as they set sail on a yacht around the Mediterranean Sea while the sun set on the horizon.

Wendy’s followers were just as enamoured by her Grecian lookbook as we were. One Instagram user commented: ‘Your style is perfection as always.’

‘The olive dress is spectacular!,’ one Instagram user wrote of Wendy’s plunging halterneck maxi.

Elsewhere, Pamela Laird commented: ‘Gorge! And that last outfit,’ speaking about a stripey co-ord Wendy opted for on one of their evenings away.

We’d expect that after their fabulous getaway, the golfers have had a mental reset and are more than ready to find themselves back on the course.
