Oh dear! Rosanna Davison has just had the most relatable mum ‘slip up’, and the result is pretty funny.

Like any busy mum, Rosanna is juggling a lot and always rushing around, but a recent school trip led to a hilarious family moment that her boys are bound to tease her over in years to come.

Rosanna recounted how, because the trip would be outdoors, the school asked parents to put sun cream on their children.

She grabbed what she thought was a typical bottle of cream as she was running out the door, but was faced with the most awkwardly funny dilemma at the school gate.

‘I have a little admission to make. So my five-year-old twin boys, Hugo and Oscar, had a school trip which involved being outside for most of the day, and the school sent us an email yesterday just to remind us to, you know, bring a snack, a bottle of water and to put sun cream on them,’ Rosanna explained.

She continued: ‘So mad rush as usual this morning, I grabbed just a little bottle of suncream from the cupboard, pop it in the car, we drive to school, and I start putting the cream on them just before we go into the classroom, and realised it’s tinted!

At that point, Rosanana was forced to decide whether or not she was going to continue with the tinted cream and risk them looking like they’d spent a week bronzing on holidays!

Naturally enough, she had to continue applying the cream, and hopefully Oscar and Hugo are too young to remember.

Rosanna said: ‘So it’s one of these sun creams that are like a foundation but have SPF 50 in them, so you know, I had to make a call.

‘[Either] let them get burnt or let them go in looking like two oompa loompas, so yeah, I sent them in with two little bronzed faces looking like they’d had a month in Spain, so sorry Hugo and Oscar, I feel a bit guilty.’

Rosanna’s gas mum moment comes after she recently celebrated completing her third degree and announced that she is getting back into modelling.
