Paging all Uptown Girls: Do you want a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ Westlife experience? Yep, we thought you might fancy that.
Well, Shane Filan, who, let’s face it, we’ve all had a crush on for the last three decades, is willing to offer one lucky fan that exact opportunity.
The 47-year-old Sligo man has launched a raffle in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, and he’s put up a prize all of us want to get our hands on.

One lucky winner will secure a VIP experience, including two tickets to Westlife’s 25th anniversary show at Zenith Paris – La Villette on Sunday, November 15.
But wait, there’s more… The winner will also receive two return flights to Paris, a two-night stay and a complimentary dinner for two at the four-star Leonardo Boutique Paris Opera Hotel on Sunday, November 15, and Monday, November 16.
How does that sound as a mini break for you and your best pal? (Bonus points if one of you is named ‘Mandy’)

The Leonardo Boutique Paris Opera Hotel is a stylish spot nestled in the heart of the 9th arrondissement. Essentially, it’s the perfect setting for a girls’ trip.
The winner of this fabulous prize will be chauffeured to the venue before a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with Shane, Nicky Byrne, and Kian Egan of Westlife.
After this whirlwind experience, they’ll go home with a signed 25th anniversary merch package. Bragging rights for the rest of your life — no brainer!

You can enter the raffle here. Tickets are priced at €10 each, but are bundled as well. You can get two for €20, six for €50, and 13 for €100. There’s no limit to the number of tickets you can purchase.
To us, that sounds like an absolute bargain to be in with the chance to win this incredible prize, and the cherry on top is that the proceeds go to a fantastic cause: the Irish Cancer Society.
Think about it, you’ll be flying without wings if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on this prize.
The closing time and date for entry is Saturday, October 31 at midnight. The winner will subsequently be announced and contacted on Monday, November 2. Entrants must be 18 or older.

The Irish Cancer Society is a charity close to Shane’s heart, as he lost both his mum and dad, Mae and Peter, to the cruel disease.
He said: ‘I’m so excited to launch this raffle and to be able to give our fans the chance to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as part of our 25th Anniversary Tour, all while supporting a cause that’s very close to my heart.
‘I know firsthand the devastating impact cancer can have on a family, as I lost my mum and dad, Mae and Peter, to the disease just nine months apart. I miss them every day, but I know they would be incredibly proud of my work today with Relay For Life.’

‘It’s hard to believe, but one in two of us will receive a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime. Every three minutes, someone in Ireland is hearing the words, “You’ve got cancer”,’ Shane continued.
‘The funds raised through this raffle will support the Irish Cancer Society’s work and will help to ensure no one has to face a cancer diagnosis alone.
‘We’re delighted to be able to hold a raffle again this year after the enormous success of the raffle we held last year, where over €76,000 was raised for the Irish Cancer Society thanks to your generosity. We want to go even bigger and better this year, and to give our fans another incredible opportunity. ‘
