Fionnuala Moran is already more than halfway there to meeting her little one, and now she’s shared her baby’s gender.
The RTÉ 2FM DJ and her husband, Aaron, who goes by the stage name Rebel Phoenix, revealed they were expecting in March.
The couple, who tied the knot at Rathsallagh Country House in 2025, sweetly travelled back to the spot where they had their first date in a full-circle moment to announce the news.

Since then, Fionnuala has been keeping her followers updated on her pregnancy, and on Friday, she let them know her baby’s gender.
Posing on her sun-soaked babymoon on the French Riviera, Fionnuala said: ‘Two Fridays ago we had our big anatomy scan and found out that we’ve a baby girl on her way to us this autumn.
‘We didn’t have a preference, just beyond buzzed to have a healthy bébé growing as the weeks whizz by.’
The mum-to-be also praised her husband, saying their daughter is already so lucky to have him as a father.
‘Adore hearing @rebel.phoenix being the best hype man for his gals while capturing this clip behind the cam. She’s one lucky baba to be arriving to an already utterly besotted girl Dad,’ she wrote.
Adam and Fionnula’s excitement to be parents was clear from the start, with their announcement photos showing them beaming smiles as she held up a string of pics from her ultrasound.

‘Bébé buzzer incoming! Beyond grateful,’ Fionnuala penned at the time. ‘Sharing the joy from our first date spot. Sending love to any of you who are on a challenging path to parenthood.’
‘Grand stretch in the evening… and in my waistline,’ Fionnuala joked, alongside a red heart emoji.
People rushed to congratulate the pair, with Lottie Ryan leading the way. ‘Ahhhhh, this is the best news!!! Congratulations!!!! How did you not tell us in the office last week?!!!’ she penned.

‘Amazing news you two. A new addition to D12,’ Tracy Clifford wrote, while Laura Fox said: ‘Ohhhhhh congratulations to you both!’
