There will be no sore heads at Roz Purcell’s hen party as the 2FM presenter swapped out the traditional festivities for something that is more her speed.
The former Miss Universe Ireland has made no secret of her grá for two things: discovering Ireland and nature, and so it comes as no surprise that she decided to marry the two as she celebrates with her pals.
Roz whisked her nearest and dearest on a weekend away to the seaside town of Glengarriff in West Cork. The group stayed in a house together, which had sprawling views of the area.

The group had some activities planned for their trip, including a visit to the sauna, which also boasted stunning views of the water.
The ladies also went swimming during their stay, with Roz sharing a clip of herself diving into the water on the grounds of the house.
The area looked like something out of a fairytale, which was only amplified by Roz playing Enya’s Caribbean Blue over the clip.

The bride-to-be shared a video alongside her sister, Rachel, to update her followers on the weekend. ‘First of all, I’m having a great hen. Don’t question the outfit,’ she joked, as she wore a leopard print fisherman’s hat.
‘Second of all, I just haven’t looked at my phone for the last 3 hours, but like, why have I jumped followers so much? It’s quite scary what’s going on,’ she asked.

Roz is celebrating her nuptials in a bigger wedding in the coming months, after marrying her husband, Zach Desmond, in City Hall in front of a small group of their closest family and friends.

The couple’s honeymoon will likely be filled with nature and adventure, if their past trips are anything to go by!
