Rosanna Davison has told how she will never take being a mum to her three kids ‘for granted’ after years of fertility struggles.

The former Miss World opened up about her experience for World IVF Day, sending love to anyone going through what Rosanna and her husband Wes Quirke did.

The couple suffered 14 pregnancy losses before welcoming their eldest child, daughter Sophia, into the world via a surrogate.

The following year, the couple got pregnant with their twin boys, Hugo and Oscar, though past trauma meant Rosanna wouldn’t allow herself to feel the excitement at the beginning of the pregnancy.

She took to social media to open up about her journey, writing: ‘l only just realised that yesterday was World IVF Day.’

‘While we didn’t have traditional IVF, it was the same assisted reproductive technology that made our surrogacy journey possible and brought our daughter Sophia into our lives,’ she penned.

‘Our path to becoming parents wasn’t straightforward and it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

‘Sending love and hope to everyone navigating fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, surrogacy, or any of the many unexpected paths to parenthood,’ she ended the emotional post.

Rosanna previously explained why she speaks so openly about the difficult time in her life, telling EVOKE: ‘I firmly believe that sharing our fertility stories can help to support others and reduce the pain and loneliness that I and so many others have experienced.

‘My husband was an amazing support, and speaking to a trusted family member and close friends also really helped me through,’ she gushed.

‘I wasn’t brave enough to talk about it publicly until we had our happy outcome, so l have enormous respect for anyone sharing their journey as it happens when it’s all so raw and uncertain. Professional support is available too.’
