Ronan Keating has taken flogging tour tickets to strange new places: stripping naked in his kitchen.
Ronan is set to embark on his latest adventure, the Just Getting Started world tour, next year, taking his hits from Boyzone to his solo career around the world.
Of course, you need to flog tickets online to drum up interest and demand — something Ronan did and then some as he stripped naked in his kitchen (save for an apron) and made himself a cocktail.
Coming into frame, Ronan showed off his bare chest while wearing the apron, telling his followers: ‘Been working hard in the gym, getting ready for the World Tour. Treating myself, you know, to a little cocktail.’
Ronan goes on to make himself a cocktail, before telling his European and UK fans that his tickets go on sale on Friday morning. He then turns around to reiterate the fact that the tickets are on sale, with the words ‘ON SALE’ written on his back — and him revealing that he was completely naked in the (literally) cheeky video.
Ronan set hearts racing as a result of his video, drawing quite the stir in the comment section.
‘Ok I just spat my drink out,’ one person commented, while another joked: ‘RONAN!? I was NOT ready for this!’
‘Well I wasn’t expecting to see this!!! Can you release tickets every week please?’ another joked, but his daughter Ali wasn’t much of a fan, commenting: ‘This needed a TW [trigger warning]…’
Ronan shot to fame as part of Boyzone in the 1990s, embarking on an equally successful solo career before the band returned in 2008. Following the sudden passing of Stephen Gately, the band continued as a four-piece, ultimately hanging up the mics in 2018.
Ronan, Shane, Mikey and Keith returned for a final pair of gigs in London’s Emirates stadium over the summer, although many fans were concerned about the health of Mikey Graham after he only joined the band for a few songs at the start of the gigs.
However, Mikey’s daughter has defended her dad after the gigs, saying that ‘no one knows the extent’ of what her father had gone through.
