It was reunions galore over the weekend as Claire Byrne and Ciara Doherty posed with their former TV3 colleagues.
The women were amongst the big names who descended on the InterContinental Hotel on Saturday night for the annual VIP Style Awards.
There were plenty of selfies shared online, with rival presenters – many of whom are former colleagues – coming together for one special evening.
Among the group was Claire Byrne with her former TV3 (now Virgin Media) pals.
Claire joined TV3 in the late 90s, starting on Ireland AM, before making the move to TV3 News at 5.30.
She later went to Newstalk, before making the move to RTÉ, and is now back at Newstalk as of earlier this year.
It was almost like a school reunion, with Claire posed with Virgin Media stalwart Colette Fitzpatrick.
Colette has been with the TV station since 2001, originally joining to present News at 5.30. She is one of the best-known faces across the channels’ current affairs shows.
Claire Brock was up next, another presenter whose career has reached great heights. Both girls were sharing presenting duties on The Tonight Show until 2024.
If there was any speculation as to their friendship following their shock exits, that was quelled on Saturday as the blonde beauties smiled together for the camera.
Ciara was all smiles as she also enjoyed some time with current Ireland AM presenters Muireann O’Connell, Karen Koster, and Ger Treacy.
One such photo saw the sports journalist stand alongside Colette and fellow Virgin Media News journalist, Zara King, while another saw Ciara and Claire join in for a snap — a sure sign the women are missed at Virgin Media!
