It might be Meghan Markle’s anniversary, but it was her doing the gifting on Tuesday as she gave royal fans a candid look inside her wedding day.
Meghan and Prince Harry said I Do at St George’s Chapel on May 19, 2018, and have since welcomed two children, Archie and Lili.
Now based in the US, the couple regularly shares glimpses of their lives online, and the new photos from their special day have sent many swooning.
Meghan went all out to celebrate her eighth anniversary, sharing two gallery posts filled with photos from the special day.
The first post shows snaps from the couple’s first dance, with Meghan’s arms wrapped around her husband’s shoulders and the new Mr and Mrs both beaming smiles.
Other shots show them twirling around the dance floor, encouraging their guests to join them, Harry dipping Meghan, and the newlyweds passionately sharing a kiss.
In her second post, Meghan used photos from the daytime celebrations, including ones of her and Harry after the service, one with her mother Doria Ragland, and snaps of Harry’s speech.
Royal fans were delighted to have a new look inside the big day, with many left swooning over the black and white dancing pics.
‘Gorgeous photos,’ wrote one person on the shared images, while another said: ‘The kissing one is [fire emoji].’

In the evening of her wedding, Meghan changed into a Stella McCartney halter-neck dress that was both sexy and elegant, perfect for a night of dancing.
This isn’t the first time Meghan and Harry have opened up their wedding album to the world, as in 2022, when their Netflix doc was released, they shared images from their reception.
These included ones of Harry’s speech at Windsor Castle and Elton John serenading them on the piano.
Meghan previously shared her choice of music for the wedding: ‘I just really wanted the music to be fun. Even our first dance.’
