The Mescal family reunited at home in Ireland to attend a wedding together, and their mum Dearbhla couldn’t have been more content.

The proud mum-of-three shared a string of snaps from the outing. She posted a photo of the kids’ luggage and shoes sitting in the hallway of their Maynooth home.

Dearbhla took to social media to share her delight in having her kids, Paul, Donnacha, and Nell, home. She shared a selfie of the group smiling, alongside their dad, Paul Snr.

The retired Garda, who has recently published a book, penned a sweet message about the family reuniting.

‘I got my 5 for the weekend… it was magic & light, wonder & joy!’ she penned. ‘I wrote once… that family isn’t just your number it is the people who love you & yours…,’

‘People who become the stake, that holds you steady, so you grow your tiny tree, establish roots, weather storms… in order for it to become a shelter in it’s own right & thus a mini forest gets created.’

‘To see your children held in love… to hold another family’s loves as sons & daughters is all the community I could ever have dreamed of,’ she added as she gushed over the family friends who tied the knot.

It appears Paul flew solo to the celebrations, as he beamed in a dapper white shirt and black suit trousers, matching his brother. His girlfriend, Gracie Abrams, didn’t appear to be in attendance.

However, there was an unexpected wedding guest who joined the family. Dearbhla shared a snap of influencer, Madison Cawley, who is known for her funny videos online.

She joined the other guests as they waved their napkins in the air.
