Sean Fitzgerald’s chances of winning this year’s Love Island have taken a major hit following his controversial behaviour in Casa Amor.
The islander has lost his spot as favourite to be crowned the series’ Top Male after last night’s episode, with bookmakers slashing his odds in the wake of his saucy actions.
According to the latest odds from Ladbrokes, Finley has now overtaken Sean as the frontrunner at 3/1, while Sean has slipped to second favourite at 7/2.

On the women’s side, Ellie remains the clear favourite to be named Top Female, with odds of 7/4.
One of the biggest movers in the betting market is Irish newcomer Charleen Murphy, whose popularity has surged since entering the villa.
She is now the third favourite at 9/2, while fellow islander Kavan Murphy has also climbed the rankings and is priced at 11/2 to finish as Top Male.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said Sean’s behaviour during Casa Amor has had an immediate impact on the betting.
‘Sean’s antics in Casa Amor haven’t gone unnoticed by punters, and his odds have taken a significant hit as a result,’ she said.
‘Finley is now leading the charge for Top Male, while Ellie continues to dominate the Top Female market.’

The latest shake-up comes after a dramatic Casa Amor episode that left viewers divided, with Sean’s actions prompting plenty of reaction on social media and now seemingly influencing punters’ predictions for who will come out on top.
The drama came as the Islanders took part in a head-to-head challenge called ‘Don’t Bottle It’, with the winning villa earning a cocktail party.
As part of the game, whichever Islander the bottle landed on received a text revealing which contestant from both the main villa and Casa Amor would take on the next dare.
To score a point for their villa, they had to complete the challenge with as much passion, enthusiasm and emotion as possible.
During one game, Sean and Carlos were both tasked with kissing the Islander with the smallest feet.
Sean fully committed to the challenge, stripping off his top before sharing kisses with both Martha and Irish influencer Charleen.
Lola, however, chose to hold back during her game, due to her ongoing loyalty to the Galway native.
