Sean “Fitzy” Fitzgerald has enlisted some of his fellow Love Island islanders for a GAA training session.

The Galway footballer appeared on the 13th season of the reality dating show, which came to a conclusion earlier this week.

In Fitzy’s case, he exited the show around two weeks earlier alongside Lola Deal, whom he was coupled up with since the start.

Following the end of the season, the islanders have been sharing snippets of their day-to-day lives, with many linking up in the “outside.”

Now, Fitzy has recruited two of his fellow islanders, Tommy Murphy and Ope Sowande to teach them the art of Gaelic football.

‘Gaelic football x Love Island,’ Fitzy captioned the video shared to TikTok, which saw him coaching the British lads.

In the video, Fitzy is seen teaching Ope the correct way to pick up the football, and showing Tommy how to correctly tackle.

‘You can slap the ball, you can’t slap him,’ Fitzy explains.

‘Okay,’ Ope says, ‘It’s every three steps, right?’

‘You can’t go more than four steps,’ Fitzy responds.

Ope and Tommy then proceed to do a ring walk before ‘squaring up to their marker.’

‘That’s like Gaelic football all day,’ Fitzy praises, ‘We go at each other. A bit of tussle.

The lads then proceed to play a dummy game of one-a-side, with Fitzy recording and refereeing.

Before the game starts, Tommy is egging Ope on with Fitzy calling him to calm down.

‘Do you want a yellow card, lad?’ Fitzy scolded.

‘I’m going to throw it [the ball] up, you jump up. When I throw it up, you hump up and catch it — no fouling.’

TikTok users have been left obsessed with the GAA lesson, with more than 87,000 likes since Fitzy posted the clip a day ago.

Many have been taking to the comments to have their say, with one joking that Tommy was ‘preparing to impress Charleen [Murphy.]’

Another added: ‘That’s the most English game of GAA I’ve ever seen.’

A third wondered: ‘Any of them available Monday for champo corner back?’
