Love Island fans were glued to the TV this week when Charleen Murphy entered the show, but did you know reality TV was not her first love?

The 27-year-old has been making waves in the villa, despite having only entered the show on Sunday. The biggest drama so far came on Wednesday night when Kavan returned to the villa with the Dubliner, completely stunning the other girls and Jasmine, who he was coupled up with. It looks like Kavan has had his head turned by the Irish girl.

Since Charleen’s arrival on the show, she has been the talk of the town, with previous clips of her popping up online.

And one clip doing the rounds shows she has beauty and talent to boot.

The Love Island gal, along with her best mate Ellie Kelly produced a podcast called Charleen and Ellie Go All In where the girls tackled the different challenges that life can throw at you.

One episode zones in on boosting Charleen’s confidence and highlighting her voice and her first true love…singing.

A childhood dream Charleen admitted that when she found out that singing involved getting up in front of people and having all eyes watch her as she sings, her confidence soon plummeted.

As she got older, she pushed herself and even collaborated with Dublin rapper TheWheloFella on the song ‘The Secret ‘, which was released in 2020. While the song didn’t go viral, it has caught the attention of 135k people online.

However, Charleen put a holt to this, and wanting her best friend to realise her talent, Ellie later organised for her to perform at a gig in front of a live audience.

The influencer has since released music on Spotify and in 2024, she performed her debut single Superstar at Longitude.
