Katja Mia is officially a married woman as she and her longtime love, Daragh Curran, have legally tied the knot.
Just weeks after she let loose on her rodeo-themed hen, Katja and Daragh said ‘I do’ in front of their closest friends and family at City Hall in Dublin.
Katja was a bridal vision, wearing a beautiful white satin maxi with spaghetti straps, the bust of which boasted pretty lace detailing.
Katja wore a white fascinator atop her long, sleek black locks, which she wore in neat curls that cascaded down her shoulders.
The 2FM star carried a bouquet of white flowers, which she picked up from the Grafton Street flower vendors, following in the footsteps of Roz Purcell and Laura Fox before her.
‘Legally your WIFE. What a perfect day,’ Katja penned, as she shared a sweet video of herself and Daragh after tying the knot.
A host of well-known faces flooded the comments section with words of congratulations, including Terrie McEvoy and Niamh de Brún.
It was a big week for Katja indeed, as not only has she become a wife, but RTÉ’s newest star turned 30 just a few days ago!
Katja and Daragh will host a lavish second wedding in Italy in September.
The couple hosted a huge engagement party in her native Burundi at the end of last year, and she previously spoke of how the lavish celebrations gave them a ‘head start’ on what to expect of hosting a destination wedding.
She previously said: ‘I have a lot of family that live abroad, and I have family from Burundi coming, so I just want to enjoy that time with family who’ve come a long way.
‘Weddings abroad are expensive, and people coming all that way means a lot. So I just want to enjoy the weekend and completely switch off.’
Katja previously told EVOKE: ‘The logistics of an abroad wedding… especially when you’ve got family coming from all over the place, and you’re trying to figure out the hotels and where everyone is going to stay in.
‘Daragh is definitely at the helm. He is a Type A. He is locked in. I’m planning the wedding with our wedding planner, but it is all thanks to him. I have to give credit where it is due; he is great.
‘But I am excited for the fun part of it, like the dresses, the flowers, the décor, and seeing everyone there. I know it will be all worth it when the day comes.’
‘It’s great that the guys are stepping up. He gets it and when there’s days when there’s no time to breathe and I forget to have dinner and breakfast, he just gets it. We tag team in that way,’ Katja gushed over her now-hubby.
‘We had a massive traditional engagement in September, and that was 300 people. That was so stressful but I have to say both of us going through that was the best training for the wedding day. I feel like we had a mini head start on what to expect. We know what we are in for.’
If their legal ceremony is anything to go by, we certainly can’t wait to see what Katja and Daragh’s Italian nuptials turn out like. Huge congratulations to you both!
