It was a great week for the Irish at The Masters 2026, and that includes Jessica O’Mahony! The Cork woman jetted off to Augusta, Georgia, alongside her former rugby star husband, Peter.
The couple made the trip across the pond to cheer on their close pal, Shane Lowry, at the prestigious golfing tournament, and it’s safe to say they enjoyed the sporting event.
Despite having attended more than their fair share of rugby matches before Peter retired from Ireland and Munster, Jessica still dubbed The Masters ‘the most incredible sporting event we have ever witnessed.’
Wendy held up a peace sign as she stood behind Jessica’s chair in the picture. She simply captioned the post with a heart emoji.

The ladies have been firm friends for quite some time, as have their sporting hero husbands. The families regularly visit each other, and even jet off on holiday together from time to time.
Jessica was clearly in her element in Georgia, as she shared a selfie beaming alongside her hubby, saying: ‘Savvvage day.’

She previously shared another photo of herself and Peter, gushing over how well organised the competition is. ‘INCREDIBLE day at the @themasters wow! Speechless! No phones allowed, so no content.
‘Such a brilliant idea though… everyone present and in the moment,’ she commended.

Jessica also took to social media to show the damage she did in the merch shop, buying themed socks, a t-shirt, and even a mini gnome, which we will likely find a home in Peter’s beloved garden.
‘Yep, the merch shop got us bad,’ she joked, alongside a laughing emoji.
