Eoghan McDermott has found his ‘earth angel’ and taken her down the aisle!
Congratulations are in order for the former broadcaster, who has wed Alessandra Heredia in a beautiful ceremony in front of family and friends.
The couple shares a son, Kevin, who is named for his grandfather and turned one in March, and the little lad was front and centre for the ceremony.
Eoghan and Alessandra tied the knot outdoors in the sunshine at Seafield Hotel in Wexford.
They exchanged vows in front of a floral arch by the sea, with friends and family watching on.
The bride was radiant on her special day in an off-the-shoulder design with a lace bustier-style corset and a chiffon skirt.
She wore her long dark hair pulled back from her face, tucked under a full flowing veil with drop earrings adorning her ears.
Pictures show them posing in the scenic grounds. In one, Eoghan has whisked Alessandra into the air, while in another they are gazing adoringly into each other’s eyes while posing next to a tree.
Other photos show them cuddling Kevin and holding hands during the ceremony.
Eoghan paid a beautiful tribute to his bride, writing: ‘This earth-angel waltzed into my life when I was a little bit lost and gave me a centre.
‘As I said in our vows, she reminded me that life could be colourful again and laughter plentiful again. It’s a privilege to be your person for life. And what a life.’
