Louise Cooney is expecting her second child with her husband Mark Sweeney, but it’s their little boy Jude who has been delivering the good news.
The influencer first recruited her three-year-old son to share her happy baby news with the world, and now Jude has played a leading role in revealing his sibling’s gender.
In a cute video shared on Wednesday night, Louise shared the moment she and Jude told Mark she was expecting again and the sweet at-home gender reveal they set up.
Black and white clips show Louise and Mark sitting on the sofa in anticipation while Jude is on the floor opening a wooden box.
Once he gets inside the box, Jude pulls out a toy car, and Louise can be heard asking him: ‘What colour is it?’
Soon after, the video turns to colour, and we see that the toy car is blue, meaning a little brother is on the way for Jude.
‘Jude’s been a great little messenger the last few months,’ Louise wrote in the caption.
Several influencers congratulated Louise, with Lauren Arthurs writing ‘boy mom’ and Niamh O’Sullivan commenting: ‘Aw Louise wow, huge congratulations.’
Louise announced she was expecting again while enjoying a getaway to Aoibhín Garrihy and John Burke’s four-star hotel, the Armada, on Spanish Island in Clare.
Louise’s toddler ran up to her in the clip, gently touching her blossoming belly. She wore a white cropped top and matching shorts to show off her growing baby bump.
Mark also made an appearance in the sweet clip, lifting Jude onto his shoulders before leaning forward to kiss Louise.
Louise also shared a glimpse at a recent scan, holding it up against the backdrop of the ocean. ‘Blessed and excited to do it all again,’ she penned on Sunday.
Louise revealed that the baby is due to arrive in the coming months, writing: ‘Jude is gonna be a big brother later this year.’
Famous faces flocked to the comment section to congratulate the family, with Aoibhín leading the way. ‘Blessed…such gorgeous news Louise, huge congrats,’ she wrote.
Una Healy followed, writing: ‘Congratulations to you all, so exciting,’ while Pippa O’Connor penned: ‘Ahh gorgeous. Congratulations xx.’
Louise and Mark are also recent newlyweds, having tied the knot at the five-star Cashel Palace in Co Tipperary in November 2025.
Among those celebrating with Louise and Mark at their wedding were Clémentine MacNeice, Tara O’Farrell and Celia Holman Lee as well as Mark Rogers, Rob Kenny, and Sinead O’Brien.
Louise and Mark have been a couple for five years, having first met online during Covid. Since then, they’ve gone from strength to strength and welcomed their son Jude in November 2023.
