With famous friends aplenty and a home on the Downton Abbey estate, Clodagh McKenna is well used to mixing in fabulously swanky circles.

And now she’s been given the nod of approval by none other than Britain’s society bible, Tatler, after being included on its list of the ‘most socially significant people’ in 2026.

Tatler describes the ‘power players’ who have made the list as ‘the cream of the crop’ with plenty of ‘charisma, cachet and serious connections’ to their name, so it’s no surprise to us that Clodagh has made the cut!

Clodagh made the list alongside her husband Harry Herbert, who is the Chairman of Highclere Thoroughbred Racing and the Royal Ascot Racing Club as well as the co-ordinator of the Cartier Racing Awards.

Harry has strong links to British high society, as he’s the late Queen Elizabeth’s godson and was a very close friend to the late Princess Diana.

His father, Henry, was Lord Porchester, the 7th Earl of Carnarvon and the Queen’s racing manager from 1969 until he died in 2001.

Telling a little about why Harry and Clodagh made the power players list, Tatler said: ‘These two live life at a fast pace.

‘When not at Ascot, Harry, chairman of Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, and his wife, the vivacious chef, author and broadcaster Clodagh, can be found holidaying with the Fennells and Richmonds in Greece.’

As well as the Fennells, aka British jeweller Theo, his author wife Louise, and their daughters, actress and director Emerald and fashion designer Coco, Clodagh has several other famous friends.

She is often spotted hanging out with a starry bunch, with her pals including Irish stars such as Imelda May and Lisa Dwan, her former This Morning colleague Holly Willoughby, and the actor Richard E Grant.

She also often shares snaps from days out and trips with Lady Carole Bamford, the founder of Daylesford Organic Farmshops, and the Duke of Richmond, who manages the 11,000-acre Goodwood Estate.

Away from their connections, Harry and Clodagh split their time between their home at Broadspear, their base on the grounds of the Highclere Estate, and their London home.

Among those joining Clodagh and Harry in the top 10 of Tatler’s list for 2026 were two newlywed couples, Peter and Harriet Phillips and Dua Lipa and her husband Callum Turner.
